We use the red-flesh plums grown in the pristine mountain regions of Taiwan which are certified pesticide-free. The natural fragrance and nutritions are preserved by the drying process using moderate heat. No added preservatives, artificial sweeteners, colorings, flavorings and bleaching agents. The natural plum flavor is enhanced in the gentle sweetening process by adding maltose, which is less sugary than granulated sugar, to retain the moisture and maintain a nice chewy texture of the dried plums.
